Chago’s Re-Opens in Belmont with New Interiors and Menu | Eater Nashville
"After closing in 2022, Chago’s Belmont Cantina has re-opened in its original Belmont-Hillsboro location under new ownership from the team behind Green Hills Grille and Mere Bulles. I noticed the exterior is largely the same (now with a new logo sign) but the interior is much brighter, with new tables, a ceiling light fixture that reads “Belmont Hillsboro,” and a vivid blue-and-orange palette. The menu still features Chago’s infamous queso alongside traditional Mexican fare like tacos, burritos, and enchiladas, while new additions—ceviche, jalapeño chicken, and a strong lineup of salads—arrived after test runs at Green Hills Grille. Chago’s is open daily starting at 11 a.m. (Sundays at 10 a.m.) and plans to launch a weekend brunch soon." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
