"The Wharf’s longtime Southeast Asian restaurant Kaliwa closed in December and quickly reopened on New Year’s Eve as Pink Tiger, a dolled-up replacement that calls for sake flights, briny martinis, sizzling wagyu with ponzu, and a retro-chic makeover. Newly named Filipino chef Joe Castro leads a menu full of miso deviled eggs topped with truffles, scallions, bacon, and gochujang; hot crab Rangoon dip with Sriracha cream cheese, scallions, sweet Thai chili sauce, and wonton chips; and Filipino dishes like pad Thai, lumpia, and adobo.
