A New Destination for Vegan Eats Will Soon Debut in the Bishop Arts District | Eater Dallas

"Set to open this winter in the Bishop Arts District at 196 West Davis Street, Suite 120, Lucky Mouth Grocery is a project by Dallas hair guru Adriana Martinez Miers and her husband David that began as a pick-up–only “grocery store” for vegan snacks and will expand to offer grab-and-go vegan lunches. I learned they’ll serve salads, sandwiches, and soups—Martinez says they’re testing a chickpea-based mock tuna salad, a kale salad, and possibly a potato or miso soup—and plan to develop recipes in-house while collaborating with local vegan chefs. I expect to find vegan tamales from The Tamale Company, a selection of plant-based meat substitutes, and cashew-based “queso” among the take-home snacks.
