There’s a Secret Bar Burger at This Celebrated Koreatown Restaurant - Eater LA

"Bear Coast Coffee is expanding from its San Clemente home up the coast a ways, landing a new second location in Dana Point, not far from the water. The coffee bar comes from Jeff Clinard, a longtime Portola employee who started his own project as a pop-up and turned it into a popular surf and sun shop just steps from the San Clemente pier. Now he and his team are branching out with a new, compact space at the base of a development project at 34051 La Plaza in Dana Point. The hope is to continue to grow the food side of things — avocado toast and breakfast burritos are popular now — while still maintaining a small footprint and giving off a slightly different, more car-focused design vibe. If all goes well, the company could expand its presence in south Orange County with a larger standalone flagship location as well." - Farley Elliott
