"Signage is up at 321 North Zang Boulevard for a new Bishop Arts District restaurant called Sketches of Spain, which takes its name from a 1960 Miles Davis album; details on the project are scant so far, but a brief description indicates it will be a destination for pintxos, or small snacks most frequently served on skewers, and Javier Garcia del Moral, co-owner of nearby bookstore The Wild Detectives, is involved in the project though he was not able to provide further comment by press time." - Amy McCarthy
