"Originally co-founded by Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas in Charlotte, North Carolina, I note that Bojangles is a fried chicken and biscuit purveyor with over 800 restaurants known for bone-in fried chicken, scratch-made savory and sweet biscuits, fried chicken sandwiches, and fried chicken tenders, with sides like mac and cheese, Cajun pinto beans, french fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, cole slaw, and pimento cheese; the chain currently has strongholds in the South (Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia) and is planning a West Coast expansion next year — working with franchise owners Lorenzo Boucetta and Poulet Brothers, LLC to open upwards of 30 units in Southern California with the first slated for Los Angeles County by early 2025 — and had earlier announced plans to open 20 more stores in the Las Vegas area." - Matthew Kang
