Austin Coffee Shop Progress Closes, but Swimming Pool Bar Cabana Club Opens | Eater Austin

"Opened in late June at 5012 East Seventh Street in Govalle, Cabana Club is a new pool bar and food-truck hub created by Progress co-owners James Benson and Scott Withers with partners Matthew Napolilli and John Cleaver; the space features indoor and outdoor seating, a shaded patio, and a 21+ outdoor pool with poolside-bar service, seats with umbrellas, and cabanas. By day it aims to support co-working and coffee drinks made with Progress beans; by night it functions as a lounge/bar offering cocktails (including an espresso martini made with Progress beans), beer, and on-site breakfast and lunch via a walk-up window. Cabana Club’s hours are Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to midnight (walk-up window 7 a.m.–3 p.m.), and the bar and pool operate on a walk-in basis only." - Nadia Chaudhury
