"A Connecticut luncheonette that won the James Beard Foundation’s “America’s Classics” award in 2012 and has been around since 1948, I recommend trying the cheeseburgers that feature fried American cheese (around $8); the fried cheese itself isn’t particularly flavorful but adds a nice crunch, and you really can’t beat the ice cream-parlor atmosphere — get a sundae — which feels charmingly untouched, a bit like Pleasantville." - Eater Staff
