"All-brunch Sunset Valley restaurant the Funkadelic has now closed, due to a decline in business during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant’s last day was on Sunday, October 4. Owner and chef Michael Wake announced the restaurant’s closure on social media, calling it 'one of the most difficult decisions to make,' but stating that the restaurant had been struggling during the pandemic and business was no longer sustainable." - Erin Russell
