Bonehead Burger Co. to Open Restaurants in Old Town and Imperial Beach - Eater San Diego
"Bonehead Burger Co., originally operating out of Barrio Logan’s Barrio Food Hub as a virtual restaurant, is opening two dine-in locations in San Diego. Created in 2022 by Kit Wingate and Blake Bone, the burger joint is known for its Bonehead burger and the "Big" Schulte six-patty smash burger. It won the best burger at the San Diego Reader’s Burger and Beer Festival in 2022. The brothers have operated a food truck and pop-ups and are now opening a sit-down spot at 150 Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach and a larger location at the Old Town Urban Market. The menu will expand to include hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and breakfast offerings, along with chef’s table dinners." - Candice Woo
