"Opening in mid-to-late December in the Convoy District next to the soon-to-reopen China Max in the Plaza del Sol complex, Sizzling & Noodles is a new Asian restaurant conveying Taiwanese and Japanese flavors with a focus on sizzling plates and noodle variations. The owners—who kept ownership from the prior tenant—have been renovating the interior and are still finalizing the menu; they call it “the first of its kind in San Diego.” The still-sizzling plates are planned to feature proteins like beef, chicken, pork, shrimp, and tofu." - Helen I.
