"A turreted, castle-like five-story historic meeting hall built in 1899 (original construction cost $50,000) that served as a memorial for a once-influential fraternal organization. The 22,000-square-foot property at Grand River and Cass underwent a $4 million renovation after being purchased in 2011 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The ground floor has housed two popular restaurant concepts, but the building has been largely vacant amid the pandemic and is now listed for sale or lease by the owners who say they are open to new concepts that preserve the structure’s history and integrity. For information on the property, the Detroit Colliers International office can be contacted at 248-540-1000." - Monica Williams
