"I think the Saint Philip Street pizzeria might be the best ever in Charleston — the crew delivered dozens of pizzas to area grocery stores to give some comfort to essential employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. They provided boxes of slices to downtown stores and supplied each establishment with two supreme pizzas, two meat lover’s pizzas, two It’s Not Easy Being Green pizzas, two cheese pizzas, and two whole-sized cheesy breads. Someone suggested delivering to the Veggie Bin in a Facebook comment and the pizzeria said they would get to it that day. This isn’t the first time they’ve helped in a crisis: just last year they delivered pizzas to furloughed TSA agents at Charleston National Airport. The pizzeria is still available for home delivery or takeout as well." - Erin Perkins
