"When Emel and Masooda Sherzad decided to retire, the Mac-Groveland neighborhood waited with bated breath to see what would take the place of widely beloved Khyber Pass Cafe, which had been a stalwart on Grand Avenue for nearly four decades. A cozy lounge bar, it turns out, was the answer: warmly lit, with a rigorously curated selection of cocktails and a menu that extends beyond just bar snacks (though the whipped feta and nachos are favorites among regulars).
