"At Concourse D in Seattle–Tacoma International Airport, I found Ballard Brew Hall is promoted on the Port of Seattle site as “designed to reflect Seattle’s beer scene” and “ideal for artisanal-minded travelers looking for local craft beer,” but it doesn’t appear to live up to that description. The restaurant serves beer, wine, cocktails and food such as breakfast tacos, burgers, salads, and fish and chips, yet early Yelp reviews (only two so far) panned the service, food, and high prices. The beer menu — which could have been the main draw — is not exclusively local nor representative of Ballard’s beer scene: it includes Fremont Brewing, Mac and Jack’s, and Spokane’s No-Li Brewhouse alongside non-local or corporate-owned beers such as Stella Artois, Eugene’s Hop Valley (majority-owned by MillerCoors), Seattle’s Pyramid (owned by North American Breweries), and Bend’s 10 Barrel and Seattle’s Elysian (both owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev)." - Megan Hill
