"Coming to The Square at Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad this November, Giaola’s Italian Kitchen will be a 3,000-square-foot restaurant with a 930-square-foot patio that will feature wood-fired pizza and freshly-made pasta. Operated by the Grand Restaurant Group (GRG) — run by Sandra DiCicco and her daughter Gianina — the menu will be based on time-honored traditional recipes the DiCicco family brought from Italy; the family’s restaurant history dates to 1956 when they opened the first DiCicco’s in Clovis, California.
