Milkbar Soho Closes Coffee Shop on Bateman Street | Eater London
"Managed by Laura Smith since 2013, this Berwick Street café helped establish a local coffee scene and drew both regulars and coffee tourists thanks to its central location. By 2014 it was among the few in the city to use Sweden's Drop Coffee as its main roaster, then moved to Hackney's Dark Arts in 2016 and continued with that supplier. Once celebrated as legendary, its growing reputation for brusque service began to threaten that status.
