"A new Neapolitan pizzeria on South First Street livestreams its pizza oven on Twitch so anyone can watch 12-inch Neapolitan pies being assembled and cooked in 800-degree ovens. The menu ranges from traditional margherita and pepperoni to bolder pies topped with barbecue or Nashville-style hot chicken with white sauce, plus custom pizzas, salads, meatballs, cheese bread, and cookies; pizzas are available for delivery, takeout, or dine-in with a small patio. Owned by native New Yorkers Dimitri Voutsinas (formerly of Motorino and Red Rooster) and Benjamin Demarchelier (who has worked with several hospitality groups), the concept was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to show food preparation in a fun, reassuring way. The restaurant opened in April in the former first Torchy’s Tacos location—a site President Obama visited in 2016—and is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., with online ordering available." - Erin Russell
