"Simply put, Buen Dia serves one of the region’s most delicious breakfasts. Be prepared for a wait, especially on weekends, but also be assured that the wait is worth it. Chilaquiles with fried eggs, breakfast burritos and tacos, tiras de chicharron (crispy pork belly strips with guacamole and salsa), molletes, tamales, and more grace the menu. The entometadas are superb (corn tortillas filled with cheese, special tomato sauce, cilantro, and more cheese paired with steak), and the sopita de fideo (tomato-based soup with noodles and chicken flautas garnished with sour cream, queso fresco, pickled jalapeños, and cilantro) is a must-order for those nursing a hangover, perfect given the Wilmington location’s proximity to UNC-Wilmington.
