"Planned to open at Madison Yards this summer, this Hooters wing shop — the second Hoots in the nation after the original in Cicero, Illinois — operates as a counter-service, takeout-focused outlet that sells mostly wings, chicken sandwiches, and fried pickles and reportedly does a brisk takeout business. I note that Hoots differs from Hooters by employing both female and male servers who wear polo or v-neck shirts and khakis instead of the traditional “Hooters girl” short-shorts and tank-top attire; community concern about the Hooters brand (which also serves Pepsi products) and the perceived suburbanization it represents has been voiced on Facebook, Reddit, and Nextdoor." - Beth McKibben
