Allston’s Sushi Factory Is Closed for Renovations - Eater Boston
"Sushi Factory (140 Brighton Ave, Boston, MA 02134), an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Allston, has closed for renovations. A note from the Boston Inspectional Services Department taped to the restaurant’s window indicates that the renovations to the restaurant’s dining room walls and floors are being made to “meet [the] new menu.” The restaurant’s interior has been gutted, further confirming an ongoing renovation. The note also indicates that the restaurant’s ownership remains the same. Sushi Factory owner Ying Huang also owns Mala Restaurant and Hi B3ar Ice Cream Roll, which are both located across the street. According to a sign posted to its front door, Hi B3ar Ice Cream Roll is also closed for renovations. Sushi Factory opened in November 2017 in the space once occupied by Redneck’s and briefly by Kirin Teppanyaki & Wok. Its menu offered sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, a collection of special rolls, cakes, and tiramisu.
