"Opening this September in Old Town Temecula, Coin-Op Game Room — San Diego’s homegrown arcade bar and restaurant with locations in North Park and the Gaslamp — will be the company’s fifth location and will occupy the entire ground floor of a brand-new building in the historic district, spanning 5,700 square feet including a 1,200-square-foot patio. Taking design cues from Coney Island, founder Roy A. Ledo says he’s looking forward to bringing “another level of entertainment and hospitality” to the wooden-boardwalk-lined, western-fronted neighborhood; COO Carlos Valente’s design will feature neon lighting, a carousel element, and carnival-themed artwork. Longtime staffer Peter Riccobono has relocated from Sacramento to serve as managing partner, and the outpost will offer a mix of retro classic and modern arcade games, a lineup of craft beer and cocktails, and a menu by CEO Mark Bolton that ranges from shareable bar snacks to sandwiches and pizza." - Candice Woo
