"Students and other residents of the McGill Ghetto should count themselves lucky that former diner Place Milton morphed into this Thai noodle counter from Pamika Sukla (chef-owner of Pamika); Sukla swings more casual here, focusing on Thai street food and especially kuai tiao, a rice noodle soup with a rich, flavourful broth loaded with toppings from peanuts to meatballs. The long menu also includes well-worn staples like pad thai and green curry, and not all of those deliver at the same level as the kuai tiao, but the cozy, affordable spot is offering something hard to come by in Montreal — and doing it well. More, please." - Tim Forster
