"Operating inside a long-running eastside steak-and-sushi restaurant near the Desert Inn and Sandhill intersection, this concept was created by Wayne and Heidi Miyahira after they built a reputation in Haiku, Hawaii by running a food truck out of a small fishing boat. Known for sushi, rolls, tempura and katsu, the evolving menu at the Desert Inn location highlights items such as seared salmon with eel sauce, spicy tuna hand rolls and combination rolls like “Screaming O” and “Itsy Bisty Spider.” Practical details: located at 3751 E.
