"This true-to-its-name roadside stand (a gleaming Airstream trailer, to be more precise) is giving the Santa Ynez Valley something more commonly found in Los Angeles: superlative street-style tacos. Locals and travelers can stop by for plates filled with tacos de carnitas; tacos de pollo asado; and tacos al pastor, the latter sliced right from the trompo. The spot also slings vegetarian-friendly calabacitas (squash) and hongos (mushrooms) tacos, gorditas, quesadillas, and burros (burritos filled with diner’s choice of meat or vegetable, beans, rice, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream). All tacos and burros come atop fresh homemade corn or flour tortillas. Kids in the car? There’s a kids’ quesadilla on the menu for $4 that’s sure to satisfy the little ones." - Nicole Adlman
