"Closed since Hurricane Harvey floodwaters caused substantial damage to its basement, kitchen, and the space that will soon house Cultivated F+B, the Theater District Lancaster Hotel is undergoing a multimillion-dollar revamp that includes a remodeled dining space and other renovations. Owner Jay Shinn told KHOU in May that the hotel was expected to reopen sometime this summer, but construction woes have delayed that timeline; the hotel's website and press materials now position the project as reopening with new dining and design elements, including Cultivated F+B.
