"Later this spring Greenville Avenue will be home to a brand new Italian eatery called Gallo Nero Italian Bistro, set to open at 1905 Greenville Avenue and acting as a sister spot to Lancaster’s Roma’s Italian. The restaurant’s name is Italian for "black cock," a traditional moniker for red-sauce joints, and the owners are confident about joining Greenville Avenue’s busy dining scene: owner Florenc Leshnja said, "First, our food is good, and we have great service. We hope those two things combined will win us customers." Diners can expect classic Italian-American dishes like lasagna and eggplant parmesan, plus a full bar that will take advantage of the space’s built-in wine cellar. Gallo Nero is expected to debut on Greenville sometime in April, with an official opening date to be announced." - Amy McCarthy
