Emeril Lagasse and His Son Are Making a Stop in the Twin Cities This Summer | Eater Twin Cities

"A lauded North Loop restaurant that hosts an annual Synergy Series inviting some of the country's most influential chefs since 2015; headlining talent this year includes the celebrity father-and-son duo Emeril Lagasse and his son E.J. In an announcement revealing this year’s lineup, the restaurant’s chef Gavin Kaysen said: “When we created this series I never thought it would take on the life that it has,” he said in a statement. “I am so grateful to work alongside these chefs, all of whom I look up to and respect. Cooking with Chef Emeril and his son will be a full circle moment for me, as I have known him and his family for 15 years.” Each year the series brings guest chefs to Minneapolis to take part in collaborative dinners working alongside the restaurant’s team, creating menus that reflect the guest chef’s vision; visitors also take part in conversations—moderated by leadership coach Alison Arth—intended to share experiences and inspire others. The first three conversations in the series are set to take place at a cultural institution in the city.
