"A Japanese bakery chain known for light, custard-filled cream puffs is debuting in DFW with a Plano outpost at 2301 North Central Expressway that officially opens on October 21. Founded in 1999 in Osaka, the global bakery now operates upwards of 500 locations and is planning a second DFW spot in Frisco (delayed to early 2019). The signature cream puffs feature a traditional choux pastry shell wrapped in a pie-crust layer, then filled with custard or ice cream, glazed, and offered in flavors like matcha, chocolate, strawberry, and honey-butter." - Amy McCarthy
