"New paperwork shows Chick-fil-A is making its first expansion onto the Strip by taking over the former Pink’s hot dog space at the front of the Planet Hollywood resort on Las Vegas Boulevard; the project lists about $750,000 in construction costs and will almost double the existing Pink’s patio to create 1,560 square feet of outdoor dining and people-watching space. I expect a steady stream of customers, and staff will use iPads for “upstream ordering” when lines grow long (a system the company has used at larger locations since 2015); diners will also be able to pre-order via the mobile app for future pickup.
