Milwaukee bar Ray’s Growler Gallery announces Jeppson’s Malort Fest | Eater Chicago

"I'm perplexed why a Milwaukee bar would appropriate Chicago's Malört custom, but Ray's Growler Gallery is hosting Milwaukee's first-annual Malört Festival on July 27, with malört slushies and more. The event, sponsored by Jeppson’s Malört (now owned by CH Distillery), is the brainchild of Milwaukee Malört ambassador Matthew Roy and coincides with the Chicago Cubs visit to Miller Park; organizers say they're "creating a safe space for Chicago and Milwaukee baseball fans to tailgate like old drinking buddies."
