"I learned that Gelato Boy's RiNo outpost inside Zeppelin Station food hall closed after roughly 16 months, with Justin Croft, vice president of development for the Zeppelin Development firm, confirming it shut at the end of July and that the firm plans to announce a new concept for the former space in the coming weeks. Lovers of Gelato Boy’s creamy conceptions can still travel to Boulder for flavors like Orange Creamsicle and Mango Margarita at the remaining scoop shops on west and east Pearl Street (1021 and 1433 Pearl Street), and pints can be ordered on the Gelato Boy website for delivery or in-store pick up. The business began almost 12 years ago as a wholesale gelato company called Fior de Latte, changed its name to Fior Gelato around the time it opened the Zeppelin Station location, and has since adopted the Gelato Boy name for the entire operation, including the Boulder scoop shops." - Paul Albani-Burgio
