"After 130 years in operation, this longtime Manor, Texas barbecue joint announced on its website (closed until further notice as of March 30). Opened in 1891 as the Richland Saloon and renamed after a 1951 change in ownership, it was known for its no-rub, seasonings-only barbecue, regular live music, and role as a community gathering spot. The location gained pop-culture recognition through a Leatherface cameo in the 2003 horror reboot and appearances in films such as A Perfect World, Secondhand Lions, and the fourth Transformers." - Courtney E.
