"Starting as a North Loop food truck in 2012, I know Vegan Nom built a reputation for rockin' vegan tacos—vegan breakfast tacos and local vegan Tex-Mex served all day—and in 2020 moved to East Cesar Chavez to open a vegan food truck court with its other truck, Nom Burgers. Its owner Chris Rios said he was ousted from the Double Trouble partnership and announced on Instagram that Vegan Nom is “no longer affiliated,” and the team is working out details for a full buyout." - Nadia Chaudhury
