"An iconic London Chinese originally started by Bill Poon that once operated five venues and earned a Michelin star in 1980 is being revived by his daughter Amy. With Bill acting as a consultant, Amy is launching a three-month Clerkenwell pop-up from 17 February ahead of a new permanent site later in the year, promising a modern twist and an ambition to "challenge and improve people's perception of Chinese food." The relaunch brings back the restaurant's signature wind-dried meats—recommended for sampling in a hot pot with rice—and features claypot rice with homemade wind-dried meats alongside dishes such as spicy aubergine salad, Hainanese chicken, and steamed fish Guangzhou-style, plus a range of vegan and gluten-free options on the new menu." - Andrew Leitch
