"I'm noting that the first Nevada expansion for Texas Roadhouse will open this October at Craig Road and Bruce Street in North Las Vegas—social posts suggest an Oct. 22 debut—and will sit near the Cannery Casino & Hotel as part of an informal “restaurant row” alongside Blaze Pizza, Cafe Rio and Jersey Mike’s (Habit Burger opened nearby earlier this year). The 7,518-square-foot, built-from-scratch restaurant will seat about 273 diners in tables and booths and features a central U-shaped bar. The large menu will include steaks, “country dinners,” seafood dishes, “Texas-sized” burgers, sandwiches and ribs, with select locations offering 10-, 12- and 16-ounce prime rib; each table will also receive a free bucket of shelled peanuts and house-made bread with cinnamon butter. The chain operates more than 450 locations and is noted for flying both an American and Texas state flag outside." - Bradley Martin
