"Since 1973 this east-side deli has been known for its New York–style bagels and busy deli counter, operating daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of Twain Avenue and Swenson Street. The longtime shop is planning a major move and upgrade to a new 8,000-square-foot ground-floor space that will include a 3,000-square-foot bakery and a larger kitchen to boost sales to Strip casinos. The redesigned site will feature a retro-modern exterior, seating for about 100 guests, a private dining room and a 44-seat outdoor patio; remaining buildings at the Somerset Shopping Center are slated for demolition. Owned by The Siegel Group, the relocation is intended to take advantage of proximity to the Convention Center expansion, but the move has not been officially announced and no timetable has been released." - Bradley Martin
