"A local chainlet known for massive burgers with deep-fried patties and Japanese-inspired flavors is expanding to Federal Way: Katsu Burger is taking over a former Stacks burgers location at 1706 S 320th St as its sixth location, and I read the news was announced on Facebook. Born in Georgetown and now with restaurants in Ballard, Capitol Hill, Lynnwood, and Bellevue, the Federal Way spot will likely offer the familiar menu of patties breaded and deep-fried in the katsu method (even though katsu traditionally involves chicken), with every patty dropped into the deep fryer. These enormous burgers come with sauces like tonkatsu, Japanese mayo, teriyaki, miso honey mustard, curry mayo, and wasabi mayo, and toppings such as pineapple, bacon, cabbage, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles. Fans can also expect the towering Mt. Fuji burger made with two katsu beef patties, and note that only the Ballard location departs from this model by serving a sushi menu alongside the burgers." - Megan Hill
