"In a former gas station in ‘Aiea, you’ll find the best ceviche- and seafood-laden tostadas on the island. Da OG Tostada layers a creamy blue crab tobiko spread with ceviche and avocado, while the aquachile features raw shrimp bathed in a lime-spiked green sauce. Don’t overlook the cooked dishes, such as the whole fried fish and beer-battered fish tacos. And though the menu is 90 percent seafood, the steak tacos are also terrific — it’s hard to find something not to like here. Da Seafood Cartel began at the farmers markets and you’ll still find them at the Kaka‘ako and Kailua markets with a more limited menu. Know before you go: The ‘Aiea location is BYOB, and there’s plenty of room for you to roll up with a cooler." - Martha Cheng
