"Backed by local dining group K2 Restaurants, this fast-casual Japanese bento box spot positions itself as one of Los Angeles’s early bento-box concepts, offering a tight menu of staples—from crispy rice topped with spicy tuna, yellowtail, rock shrimp, or pork belly to rolls, greens and small snacks—plus beer and sake (also available at its Santa Monica food-hall outpost). The large, primely situated Hollywood space, formerly home to Demitasse and briefly a döner shop, features a bright, airy communal dining area refreshed with warm color tones and lots of light wood after a build-out overseen by The Forest Group. The Hollywood location opens Monday with hours of 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and extended service until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; the first 50 guests in line can snag a free bento box, and an Echo Park expansion was planned for 2020." - Farley Elliott
