"I'm hearing that high-end Brazilian hotel company Fasano has emerged as a front-runner to take the Four Seasons Restaurant space in Midtown East, reportedly drawn by its designer, Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld; nothing has been signed yet. The restaurant closed in June after a short, troubled 10-month revival following a $40 million rebuild, and drew criticism for still involving former partner Julian Niccolini—who pleaded guilty to sexual assault in 2016 and later resigned—and for alleged design flaws that owners claim came from Weinfeld himself." - Stefanie Tuder
