"Set to go dark this month after just nine months in business, the Arts District boutique hotel and restaurant run by acclaimed former NoMad and Eleven Madison Park chef Ashley Abodeely will have its final night of service on Saturday, January 18, while the hotel remains open through January 28. Owner Dustin Lancaster confirmed the restaurant will pause service for six to eight weeks (except for already planned events) for a rebranding that includes cosmetic changes; it will reopen with a new chef, new food and bar menus, and an overall new direction—Lancaster says the incoming chef is a well-known local name with ambitions to turn the restaurant into a dining destination. The hotel is expected to return as a jewel-toned boutique overnight option for the booming Arts District, particularly appealing to people associated with Warner Music across the street." - Farley Elliott
