Toast Gastrobrunch opens soon | Eater Vegas

"Launched in Carlsbad earlier this year, Toast Gastrobrunch is already hiring staff for a planned second location on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, with job postings directed to the same address as the existing Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill at the intersection of Flamingo and Fort Apache Road; the exact site and opening date have not been announced. Expected to be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sammy’s executive corporate chef Alfred “Alfie” Szeprethy is a Gastrobrunch partner who will oversee a menu that mixes traditional classics with inventive dishes including the duck confit, lobster and mashed avocado on toast, eggs in purgatory served in a sourdough bread bowl, and Southern fried chicken pancakes. Specialty drinks include a lavender lemonade Mimosa, pisco sours, and blackberry, peach, or blood orange Bellinis, and job postings also seek bartenders able to make breakfast cocktails like bloody Marys, sangrias, and flaming coffees. The Las Vegas restaurant is planned to feature “Instagrammable spots both in and outside the restaurant,” and back in San Diego diners can stage photos with a full-size cow statue named Maizy." - Bradley Martin
