"After months of a lease dispute that put its future in town in doubt, the brewery announced it has reached an agreement to remain in its longtime 600 S. Main St. space that it has occupied since 1990. Negotiations followed reports that the building owner backed out of a renewal—something the head brewer, Jimmy Walker, suggested was because the landlord wanted to open its own restaurant—and raised questions about partial ownership of the property by founder Richard Squire, who is no longer affiliated with the company following its sale to Anheuser‑Busch.
