"Opening for dinner on Tuesday, February 4, the Buckhead outpost of Alma Cocina sits on the ground floor of building 100 in the Terminus complex at the corner of Peachtree Street and Piedmont Road. I note that longtime Alma Cocina chef Chad Clevenger now leads the kitchen here and has added dishes like masa fried shrimp and chile en nogada — a poblano pepper stuffed with fried cauliflower, black beans, butternut squash, pomegranate, and walnut sauce — while keeping popular items such as the roasted chicken mole, fried avocado tacos, and pork lechoncito (suckling pig) tamale. Cocktails will feature agave-based spirits as well as pisco, mezcal, and rum. Lunch service begins Monday, February 10, and weekend brunch starts February 15 with breakfast burritos filled with scrambled eggs, Chihuahua cheese, and chorizo, tres leches French toast, and a savory capirotada (bread pudding) with chorizo, rajas, and Chihuahua cheese. Hours beginning February 15 are Monday–Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Monday–Thursday and Sunday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m." - Beth McKibben
