"Just in time for its 12th anniversary, Colorado-based breakfast darling Snooze will open a ninth Front Range location May 2 at 5073 South Syracuse Street in the Denver Tech Center, next door to Shanahan’s steakhouse. I note the new space will seat around 150 brunch-goers between an indoor dining area and an outdoor patio. The morning eatery is known for over-the-top breakfast cocktails—like the Bacon and Eggs (bacon-infused Bourbon, egg white, and bacon)—sweet-on-sweet pancakes topped with vanilla cream, shortbread, chocolate, and caramel, multiple Eggs Benedict variations, and other hearty brunch dishes. Brothers Adam and Jon Schlegel opened the first Snooze in the ballpark neighborhood in 2006; the restaurant now has 24 locations across Colorado, California, Arizona, and Texas, with four more on the way, including a recent Westminster opening last summer and another planned for Denver International Airport, and three additional locations coming to Dallas and Fort Worth." - Josie Sexton
