"At 601 Heights Boulevard, I learned that Common Bond on the Go will take over the former Sam’s Fried Chicken and Donuts space as the bakery’s first drive‑thru outpost; the site will include a drive‑thru, indoor seating, and an expanded patio meant for lounging with a croissant and a cup of coffee once the coronavirus pandemic is over. Common Bond president Chris Fannin said the “On‑the‑Go” concept aims to provide ultimate convenience while maintaining superb quality, letting customers pick up coffee and a croissant on the way to work or grab a bottle of wine and a baguette for dinner on the way home.
