"In Cabbagetown, I’m excited by a newly opened restaurant staging what promises to be an epic brunch this Sunday, September 2: the spot opens at 10 a.m. for a “brunch takeover” featuring the kitchen crew from neighboring Little’s Food Store, baker Sarah Dodge, and East Atlanta’s Emerald City Bagels. The takeover menu includes pastries from Dodge, bagels topped with smoked salmon and dill cream cheese or with avocado from Emerald City, and Little’s Southern breakfast plate, shrimp and grits, and biscuits with pork sausage gravy. Mouth of the South is serving as host and bartender with a full range of breakfast cocktails, and brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the restaurant occupies the former Cabbage Pie space on Carroll Street." - Beth McKibben
