"Opening Day at Coors Field kicks off the season in downtown Denver at the third-oldest stadium in the National League, pairing baseball action with an expanded lineup of ballpark eats and drinks. New concession highlights include a trio of chicken tacos topped with salsa verde and purple slaw, a garlicky po’ boy stacked with Rocky Mountain oysters, slaw, guacamole, green chile ranch, pico de gallo and cotija cheese, and a fusion taco club with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, fried jalapeño and avocado sour cream. The stadium also rolled out an extreme hot dog called the triple play (Carolina pulled pork, crumbled bacon and purple slaw), a loaded Mile High mac and cheese with green chile mac and spicy chorizo, and exclusive Rockies fritters — fried purple berry fritters in a sweet rum glaze dotted with purple and silver pearls. Rooftop margaritas continue to pour (now sponsored by Captain Morgan), and the ballpark emphasizes variety and dietary needs with gluten-free options in section 142 and multiple salad offerings throughout the venue." - Gigi Sukin
