"I found the concept is built around a pork bone broth that's boiled for more than 20 hours for richness and tastefulness; the owners of the recently shuttered Jumping Rice & Rolls have quickly returned with this renewed Asian-focused spot in the Flamingo Commercial Center at the corner of Flamingo and Ft. Apache. The menu features appetizers such as $5.95 crispy takoyaki octopus balls, $4.95 deep-fried Brussels sprouts, shrimp shumai, chicken karaage and calamari tempura, plus a $3.95 seaweed salad. Ramen choices include $8.95 shoyu, shio, miso and tonkotsu, along with signature bowls like the $10.95 “soup-less” maje creation and the $9.95 black garlic (soy-flavored ramen with a soft-boiled egg and fried whole garlic); rice dishes include a $5.95 “chicken may don” topped with deep-fried chicken and scrambled egg. Drinks range from Japanese beer to a $12.50 premium cold sake and the $13.50 Sho Chiku Bai Nigori unfiltered cold sake. It's open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is located near Fractured Prune Doughnuts and Rolled Ice Cream; phone 702-360-5867." - Bradley Martin
